It's incredible how quickly the summer flies by. Just like that, in the blink of an eye, it is over! I have returned to London and am making the difficult transition back to normal life. But I carry with me all the wonderful memories of a glorious 2 weeks spent making art with others. It was an incredibly intense period, with non-stop fun and work - I know some people had difficulty finding time to fit in sleep! But at the end of the day, what we created went beyond our art works. Together we made a community, a community that I hope will continue to exist and support each other from afar. That's why I do this work, despite all of the gritty behind the scenes stuff that has to happen, I live for those moments when the family truly feels real.
For those of you who weren't with us, don't worry, there will be more I hope! And if you want to get a glimpse into our experience, then you can visit the extensive blog I wrote about it, here:
You'll find everything from written articles, to videos, to photos, and sound recordings. I hope you enjoy, and that maybe you'll join our family next summer in 2019!
